Habitat: Growing near the southern shore of Hollerberg Lake (ID 76005700), a 220 acre eutrophic basin situated in the Minnesota River Prairie Ecological Subsection. Water clarity good. Near public water access. Individuals locally abundant in 0.5 meters of water.
Substrate: Sand substrate.
Associated Species: Associates include Ceratophyllum demersum, Najas flexilis, Typha sp.
