Elevation: 403 meters (1322ft)
Habitat: Growing in Westport Lake (ID 61002900), a 200 acre shallow, eutrophic basin situated in the Minnesota River Prairie Ecological Subsection. Good water clarity throughout the southwest arm; moderate to poor clarity in the northeast part of the lake where individuals were found. Locally common, forming stands in 1.4 meters of water.
Substrate: Soft, muck substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Nuphar variegata, Ceratophyllum demersum, Stuckenia pectinata, Potamogeton praelongus, P. zosteriformis.
