Habitat:
Growing near the northeast shoreline of Spring Lake (ID 76013000), a 65 acre basin situated in the Minnesota River Prairie Ecological Subsection. Poor water clarity. High winds confined search area to eastern shoreline. Individuals locally common in 0.5 meters of water. Forming a large stand along shore.

Gravel substrate.
