Habitat:
Growing near the northern shoreline of Long Lake (ID 75002400), a shallow, 620 acre eutrophic basin situated in the Minnesota River Prairie Ecological Subsection. Poor water clarity, green water. Individuals locally common; seemingly sparse lakewide. Emergent in 60 centimeters of water.

Sand substrate.
