Habitat: Growing near the western shoreline of Perkins Lake (ID 75007500), a 520 acre shallow, eutrophic basin situated in the Minnesota River Prairie Ecological Subsection. Basin created by damming the Pomme de Terre River. Poor water clarity. Individuals locally common around point in 60 centimeters of water. Seemingly sparse lakewide.
Substrate: Gravel substrate.
