Habitat: Growing near the western shoreline of Scandinavian Lake (ID 61004100), a 420 acre basin situated in the Minnesota River Prairie Ecological Subsection. Moderate water clarity. Near outlet that runs through a wetland and then into the East Branch of the Chippewa River. Individuals locally abundant in 60 centimeters of water.
Substrate: Sand-silt substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Utricularia vulgaris, Potamogeton illinoensis, Najas flexilis, Myriophyllum sibiricum, Typha sp.
