Habitat: Growing near the eastern shoreline of Shible Lake (ID 76014100), a 340 acre shallow, eutrophic basin situated in the Minnesota River Prairie Ecological Subsection. Search area limited to eastern shoreline. Poor water clarity. Forming a stand in 30 centimeters of water.
Substrate: Sand substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Ceratophyllum demersum.
