Habitat: Growing near the eastern shoreline of Deer Lake (ID 86010700), a 170 acre eutrophic basin situated in the Big Woods Ecological Subsection. Connected to Goose Lake. Moderate to poor water clarity. Individuals emergent in 15 centimeters of water. Forming a small 1 meter x 5 meter stand and scattered along the nearshore zone for another ~ 6 meters.
Substrate: Sand substrate.
