Habitat: Growing near the western shoreline of Little Swan Lake (ID 47002500), a 50 acre eutrophic basin situated in the Big Woods Ecological Subsection. Filamentous algae common. Poor to moderate water clarity. Individuals forming a small stand in 1.2 meters of water.
Substrate: Silt substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Ceratophyllum demersum, Nuphar variegata, Potamogeton friesii.
