Habitat: Growing along the northern shoreline of White Bear Lake (ID 82016700), a large 2,400 acre mesotrophic lake situated in the St. Paul-Baldwin Plains Ecological Subsection. Search area limited to a 60 meter shoreline stretch near the public water access. Water levels low, exposing mud flats nearshore. High water clarity. Individuals locally abundant on mudflats and emergent in up to 60 centimeters of water.
Substrate: Sand substrate.
Associated Species: Associates include Heteranthera dubia.
