Elevation: 350 meters (1148ft)
Habitat: Growing near the western shoreline of Minnesota Lake (ID 47014000), a 115 acre shallow, eutrophic basin situated in the Minnesota River Prairie Ecological Subsection. Moderate water clarity. Lake almost entirely Typha-fringed. Individuals local and forming clumps on the edges of a Typha mat in 60 centimeters of water depth. Near the public water access.
Substrate: Soft, muck substrate.
Associated Species: Other associates include Eleocharis palustris, Sparganium eurycarpum, Spirodela polyrrhiza.
