Elevation: 366 meters (1200ft)
Habitat: Growing near the southwest shore of Dade Lake (ID 11021400), a 100 acre basin situated in the Pine Moraines and Outwash Plains Ecological Subsection. Water clarity good. Found adjacent to a small island. Individuals sterile when submerged and flowering when stranded above waterline. Locally abundant; forming a saturated carpet of individuals often entangled with Utricularia gibba when stranded.
Substrate: Sand-gravel substrate.
Associated Species: Other associates include Juncus pelocarpus, Isoetes echinospora, Elatine minima, Nitella tenuissima, Nymphaea odorata.
