Habitat: Growing near the southern shoreline of North Lindstrom Lake (ID 13003500), a 140 acre basin situated in the Mille Lacs Upland Ecological Subsection. Very good water clarity. One of the most diverse nearshore sites observed on the basin. Individuals locally common. Emergent in 1 meter of water. Full sun.
Substrate: Sand-silt substrate.
Associated Species: Associates include Nymphaea odorata subsp. tuberosa, Heteranthera dubia, Potamogeton robbinsii, P. amplifolius, Elodea canadensis, Myriophyllum sibiricum, Sagittaria rigida, Lemna trisulca, Spirodela polyrrhiza, Ceratophyllum demersum, Bolboschoenus fluviatilis.
