Locality: United States, Minnesota, Washington, 4 miles southwest of the town of Marine on Saint Croix.

Elevation: 279 meters (915ft)
Habitat: Found in West Boot Lake (ID 82004400), a small 50 acre mesotrophic basin situated in the St. Paul - Baldwin Plains Ecological Subsection. Excellent water clarity. Mostly undeveloped shoreline. Individuals locally sparse on a small floating mat that formed around an uprooted and floating piece of Nuphar variegata rhizome.
Associated Species: Utricularia gibba and Lemna trisulca entangled within the saturated, vegetated mat.
