Elevation: 273 meters (895ft)
Habitat: Growing near the northeastern shoreline of Chisago Lake (ID 13001200), a 950 acre eutrophic basin situated in the Mille Lacs Uplands Ecological Subsection. Good water clarity. Carp observed in shallow water areas. Site sheltered from waves due to a nearby Typha stand in deeper water. Individuals locally common in the nearshore; numerous small patches within an estimated 60 x 40 meter area. Emergent in 0.3 - 1.0 meter of water depth.
Substrate: Sand substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Nymphaea odorata, Potamogeton zosteriformis, P. robbinsii, Heteranthera dubia, Eleocharis sp.
