Habitat: Growing near the eastern shoreline of Little Lake (ID 13003300), a 170 acre eutrophic basin situated in the Mille Lacs Uplands Ecological Subsection. Moderate to poor water clarity with occasional areas of abundant algae. Individuals locally sparse, forming a small stand in 1 meter of water depth.
Substrate: Sand substrate.
Associated Species: Associates include Nuphar variegata, Nymphaea odorata subsp. tuberosa, Potamogeton nodosus, Myriophyllum sibiricum.
