Habitat: Found in the southern half of White Iron Lake (ID 69000400), a large 3,200 acre basin situated in the Border Lakes Ecological Subsection. Tea-stained water. Growing near the western shoreline of a small peninsula; partially sheltered from wave action. Individuals locally common. Emergent in 0.8 meters of water depth.
Substrate: Sand substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Vallisneria americana.
