Habitat:
Found in the southernmost basin of Moose Lake (ID 86027100), an 85 acre mesotrophic lake situated in the Big Woods Ecological Subsection. Good water clarity. Majority of shoreline undeveloped. Near the public water access. Individuals found floating on the water's surface.
Substrate:
Gravel substrate.
Associated Species:
Associated with Brasenia schreberi, Ceratophyllum demersum, Heteranthera dubia, Elodea canadensis, Myriophyllum sibiricum, Nymphaea odorata, Nuphar variegata, Lemna trisulca, Riccia fluitans, Potamogeton zosteriformis, P. illinoensis, P. crispus, Utricularia intermedia, U. vulgaris.
