Habitat: Found near the western shoreline of Sarah Lake (ID 27019100), a 550 acre eutrophic basin situated in the Big Woods Ecological Subsection. Near the outlet of Sarah Creek. Individuals found floating on the water's surface.
Substrate: Muck substrate.
Associated Species: Associates include Lemna trisulca, Ceratophyllum demersum, Myriophyllum spicatum, Nymphaea odorata, Zannichellia palustris.
