Habitat: Growing in the southern arm of Ann Lake (ID 71006900), a 180 acre mesotrophic basin situated in the Anoka Sand Plain Ecological Subsection. Sheltered area. Individuals growing in clumps throughout water column in 0.8 meters of water depth.
Substrate: Thick layer of detritus substrate.
Associated Species: Associates include Brasenia schreberi, Nuphar variegata, Schoenoplectus subterminalis, Utricularia intermedia, U. vulgaris, Nymphaea odorata.
