Habitat: Growing near the northern shoreline of Nixon Lake (ID 86023800), a 60 acre mesotrophic basin situated in the Hardwood Hills Ecological Subsection. Near the public water access. Submerged in 1.5 meters of water depth.
Associated Species: Site dominated by Nuphar variegata and Nymphaea odorata. Other associates include Ceratophyllum demersum, Stuckenia pectinata, Utricularia vulgaris.
Description: Forming club-shaped turions.
