Substrate: Sand-gravel substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Heteranthera dubia, Utricularia vulgaris, Vallisneria americana, Potamogeton richardsonii, P. crispus, Lemna trisulca, Stuckenia pectinata, Zannichellia palustris.
