Taxon:
Neckera besseri Lobarzewski
Family: Neckeraceae
Collector:
Besseri, N. 190
Date: 1865-07-00
Verbatim Date: 1865 to 1867
Locality:
France, In the forest of Fanges, in the month of July 1865.
Substrate:
On rocks
Description:
Stem thinly pinnate; little twigs; the leaves are smaller, subrounded ovate, with a yellow lens. We saw only the barren.
Notes:
The main characteristic which separates it from the Ho. trichomanoides, with which we first found some connection, consists in the exactly rounded shape of its leaves and in their constant smallness. We found this moss in the same locality in the summer of 1867, but still sterile
