Locality: About 23 miles west of Fort McMurray: Northwest of Athabasca River, large patterned fen on top of Thickwood Hills
Elevation: 1690 meters (5543ft)
Habitat: Intermediate rich fen. Some areas and strings having abundant Sphagnum teres, ans S. subsecundum. Ombrotrophic bog areas present.
Associated Species: Carex limosa, C. lasiocarpa, C. chordorrhiza, Drepanocladus sendtneri, D. vernicosis, D. lapponicus, Tomenthypnum nitens, and Chamaedaphne.
