Habitat: Frequent to abundant in a series of seepage meadows perched on gentle slopes along a broad ravine, in a moderately grazed pasture. ~10 acres of seepage meadow maintained by diffuse and often rather subtle groundwater emergence. Fairly firm (to locally somewhat buoyant) saturated muck and mucky-silt. Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Carex laevivaginata, C. hysteracina, C. vulpinoidea, C. granularis, C. stipata, C. pellita, C. molesta, Scirpus atrovirens, Juncus dudleyi, Glyceria striata, G. grandis, Equisetum arvense, Helenium autumnale, Eupatorium perfoliatum, Lycopus americanus.
