Habitat:
Occasional in a series of seepage meadows perched on gentle slopes along a broad ravine, in a moderately grazed pasture. ~10 acres of seepage meadow maintained by diffuse and often rather subtle groundwater emergence. Fairly firm (to locally somewhat buoyant) saturated muck and mucky-silt. Full sun.
Associated Species:
Associates include Carex laevivaginata, C. vulpinoidea, C. stipata, C. granularis, C. hysteracina, C. pellita, C. bebbii, Juncus dudleyi, Eleocharis erythropoda, Scirpus atrovirens, Glyceria striata, Eupatorium perfoliatum, Equisetum arvense, Helenium autumnale, Lycopus americanus.
