Locality: United States, Minnesota, Stearns, St. Cloud, Sauk River Regional Park. Along the lower reaches of the Sauk River on the north side of St. Cloud.

Verbatim Elevation: 1010 feet
Habitat: Very local near a hiking trail on a broad alluvial terrace that is ~5-10 feet above elevation of the true floodplain. Degraded (heavily past grazed) and increasingly overgrown oak savanna. Partial shade below large, open-grown Quercus macrocarpa. Several robust clumps here; dozens of fertile culms.
Associated Species: Additional associates include Carex molesta, Phleum pratense, Poa pratensis, Bromus inermis, Anemone virginiana, Galium boreale, Vitis riparia, Zanthoxylum americanum, Rhamnus cathartica.
