Habitat:
Locally abundant on the wet shores of a small, shallow (<12 inches deep) lagoon connected to the lake by a narrow strip of shallow water, and somewhat sheltered behind the sandy point. In substrates varying from muck, to sand, to shallow muck over sand (and pea gravel). Forming dense and often quite large patches, in wet settings within a few inches of the water. Full sun.
