Habitat:
Quite local on the banks of the creek. A small but rather dense patch in moist silty-clay, 6-18 inches above the stream level. Mostly in full sun. Several more small patches encountered sporadically in similar streambank settings, up to 1/2-mile downstream.
Associated Species:
Associates include Carex lacustris, C. retrorsa, Schoenoplectus tabernaemontani, Leersia oryzoides, Glyceria grandis, Phalaris arundinacea.
