Locality: United States, Minnesota, Stearns, on the edge of Happy Valley State Wildlife Management Area. Rolling till plain just east of the South Two River, 2.5 miles northeast of Holdingford.

Verbatim Elevation: 1110 feet
Habitat: Very local in a small swale surrounded by rich hardwood forest. Loose groups of plants occur near open water in the center of this shallow marsh. Peaty muck substrate, with water ~8 inches deep. Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Acorus americanus, Sium suave, Carex utriculata, Phalaris arundinacea. A patch of Carex atherodes (MDL7341) occurs nearby but is not a direct associate.
