Locality: United States, Minnesota, Morrison, Camp Ripley National Guard Reservation. In the free-flowing Mississippi River near the DeParcq Woods Campground, 1/4-mile upstream from the State Highway 115 bridge, seven miles north of downtown Little Falls.

Habitat: Frequent on the exposed shores of small islands. Moist sand, pea-gravel, and small cobbles, ~4-10 inches above the water (exposed in the past few weeks by receding river levels). Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Cyperus diandrus, C. squarrosus, Eleocharis intermedia, Bidens cernua, Gnaphalium uliginosum, Lindernia dubia, Rumex fueginus, Veronica catenata, Amaranthus tuberculatus, Persicaria lapathifolia, P. pensylvanica, Eragrostis hypnoides, Panicum philadelphicum, Plantago major, Mimulus ringens.
