Habitat:
Infrequent to occasional in a seepage meadow, on a very subtle slope near the head of a broad water track that cuts through the surrounding tamarack swamp. Firm but buoyant, moist, black, mucky peat. Scattered plants amongst tall Carex stricta hummocks. Full sun.
