Locality: United States, Minnesota, Morrison, Camp Ripley National Guard Reservation. On islands in the free-flowing Mississippi River, ten miles north of downtown Little Falls.

Elevation: 346 meters Verbatim Elevation: 1135 feet

Habitat: Quite local on very small sandbars exposed in the past few weeks by receding water levels. Fairly fine moist sand, in ~level setting 6-10 inches above the present river level. Partial shade of Acer saccharinum in the canopy of the adjacent floodplain forest. Forming the dominant cover here. Also occurs on small mud flats and exposed silty shorelines in this vicinity.

Associated Taxa: Associates include Eleocharis intermedia, Panicum philadelphicum, Eragrostis hypnoides, Amaranthus tuberculatus, Gnaphalium uliginosum, Rumex fueginus, Lindernia dubia, Veronica catenata, V. peregrina, Persicaria sp.
