Locality: United States, Minnesota, Morrison, Camp Ripley National Guard Reservation. On islands in the free-flowing Mississippi River, ten miles north of downtown Little Falls.

Elevation: 346 meters
Verbatim Elevation: 1135 feet
Habitat: Uncommon and quite local on very small sandbars exposed in the past few weeks by receding water levels. Fine, moist sand, 6-10 inches above the water. Partial shade of Acer saccharinum in the canopy of the adjacent floodplain forest. Level setting dominated by Cyperus squarrosus. Also occurs on small mud flats and exposed silty shorelines in this vicinity.
Associated Species: Additional associates include Veronica catenata, V. peregrina, Rumex fueginus, Amaranthus tuberculatus, Gnaphalium uliginosum, Persicaria lapathifolia, Eragrostis hypnoides, Panicum philadelphicum, Eleocharis intermedia.
