Locality: United States, Minnesota, Morrison, Camp Ripley National Guard Reservation. On islands in the free-flowing Mississippi River, ten miles north of downtown Little Falls.

Habitat: Very local on a very small sandbar / mudflat complex exposed in the past few weeks by receding water levels. Rare here in moist sand, in an essentially level setting ~5 inches above the water. Full sun.
Associated Species: Additional associates include Eleocharis intermedia, Panicum philadelphicum, Eragrostis hypnoides, Persicaria lapathifolia, P. hydropiper, Mimulus ringens, Lindernia dubia, Ludwigia palustris, Rumex fueginus, Gnaphalium uliginosum, Amaranthus tuberculatus, Veronica catenata, Mentha arvensis, Bidens cernua, Sium suave, Ranunculus sceleratus.
