Locality: United States, Minnesota, Morrison, Camp Ripley National Guard Reservation. On the west bank of the free-flowing Mississippi River ten miles north of downtown Little Falls.

Habitat: Locally abundant. Forming dense, often monotypic, patches on the gently sloping lower portion of the river bank. Moist to quite wet silt amongst rounded cobbles, often in zones influenced by subtle groundwater seepage. Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Phalaris arundinacea, Mentha arvensis.
