United States, Minnesota, Morrison, Ereaux State Wildlife Management Area. Gently rolling sandy terrain east of State Highway 371, two miles northeast of Little Falls.

Habitat:
Frequent to locally abundant in sedge/shrub fen (grading from rich to poor), in the broad central zone of an 80-acre wetland complex. Loose to moderately dense patches; mostly in areas that have not yet been invaded by Typha xglauca. Moderately buoyant, deep, saturated peat. Continuous Sphagnum carpets. Full sun to partial shade of small Larix laricina.

Additional associates include Carex lasiocarpa, C. limosa, Eriophorum gracile, E. chamissonis, Potentilla palustris, Betula glandulifera, Vaccinium oxycoccos, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Spiraea tomentosa.
