Locality: United States, Minnesota, Stearns, Spring Hill County Park. Along the Sauk River on a rolling (to locally strongly rolling) till plain 2.5 miles east of Spring Hill, six miles southeast of Greenwald.

Verbatim Elevation: 1150 feet
Habitat: Local, infrequent on a steep, 30-foot, northeasterly slope above the river. Narrow strip of woodland dominated by large, spreading Quercus macrocarpa, and smaller Acer negundo and Fraxinus pennsylvanica. Understory includes Ulmus americana. Sandy soil with a dark sandy-loam cap. Small clumps. Leaves with a bluish hue.
Associated Species: Additional associates include Parthenocissus inserta, Prunus virginiana, Carex blanda, C. peckii, C. grisea, Fragaria virginiana, Hydrophyllum virginianum, Polygonatum biflorum, Geum canadense, Cystopteris tenuis.
