Locality: United States, Minnesota, Kandiyohi, Strongly rolling forested moraine on the north side of Green Lake, 2.5 miles southeast of New London, 3.5 miles northeast of Spicer.

Habitat: Occasional in a calcareous seepage meadow, on a rather large peat dome at the base of a 50-foot, south-facing slope. The dome is raised 4-5 feet above the adjacent wetland surrounding small, shallow Wolf Lake. Deep, saturated and buoyant, but quite firm peat; the upper ~10 inches is highly decomposed, black, mucky organics, with gritty fibric peat below that. Full sun, to somewhat shaded beneath the sedges.
Associated Species: Associates include Carex lacustris, C. utriculata, C. stricta, C. prairea, Thelypteris palustris, Campanula aparinoides, Impatiens capensis.
