Locality: United States, Minnesota, Todd, Grey Eagle State Wildlife Management Area. Rather strongly rolling forested terrain on the east side of Prairie Creek, 4.5 miles west of Burtrum.

Verbatim Elevation: 1225 feet
Habitat: Infrequent in the wet ecotone between tamarack swamp in a small basin and mesic hardwood forest on a north-facing slope. Interrupted canopy of Fraxinus nigra, Larix laricina, Betula papyrifera, Ulmus americana, and Populus balsamifera. Tall understory includes Viburnum lentago, V. trilobum, and Quercus macrocarpa. Wet muck. Cespitose.
Associated Species: Additional associates include Carex stipata, C. lacustris, C. stricta, Ribes triste, R. americanum, Toxicodendron rydbergii, Parthenocissus inserta, Mitella nuda, Galium asprellum, Rubus pubescens, Equisetum arvense, Athyrium angustum.
