Locality: United States, Minnesota, Todd, Along the Long Prairie River on sandy outwash nine miles northeast of Clarissa, nine miles south of Staples.

Verbatim Elevation: 1245 feet
Habitat: Uncommon in a narrow strip of oak woodland, on the lower half of a moderately steep, 10-foot, east-facing slope that forms the west bank of the river. Canopy is dominated by large Quercus macrocarpa, with occasional Tilia americana and Fraxinus pennsylvanica. A patchy understory includes Prunus virginiana and Zanthoxylum americanum. Sandy soil with a dark sandy-organic cap.
Associated Species: Additional associates include Carex pensylvanica, C. blanda, C. sprengelii, Osmorhiza claytonii, Equisetum hyemale, Smilax illinoense, Ribes cynosbati, Corylus americana, Toxicodendron rydbergii.
