Locality: United States, Minnesota, Todd, Long Prairie River State Wildlife Management Area. On the east side of the Long Prairie River, on a level to gently rolling outwash plain six miles north-northeast of Browerville, along County Road 18.

Habitat: Local in a narrow strip of degraded dry prairie where the right-of-way ditch meets a sandy old field, near an old farm site. Loose to rather dense patches. Deep sand with a silty cap. Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Poa pratensis, Bromus inermis, Toxicodendron rydbergii, Euphorbia cyparissias.
