Locality: United States, Minnesota, St. Louis, Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, Sundial Lake Primitive Management Area. In rolling to fairly rugged bedrock terrain east of Stuart Lake, 20 miles north-northwest of Ely. Along the northwestern shore of Bibon Lake, near the channel to Nibin Lake.

Elevation: 395 meters
Verbatim Elevation: 1295 feet
Habitat: Local. Frequent in coarse sand and gravel, on a very gently sloping shoreline. In shallow water (a beaver dam on the small outlet channel has recently raised the lake level ~6-8 inches). Forming small clumps. Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Utricularia cornuta, U. minor, U. intermedia, U. vulgaris, Hypericum boreale, Lobelia dortmanna, Drosera rotundifolia, Juncus brevicaudatus, Agrostis scabra, Dulichium arundinaceum, Chamaedaphne calyculata.
