Habitat: Occasional. Wet gravelly sand, in the wettest zone at the bottom of the ditch. Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Scirpus microcarpus, S. pallidus, Schoenoplectus tabernaemontani, Carex utriculata, C. stricta, C. lasiocarpa, C. sartwellii, Eleocharis erythropoda, Glyceria grandis, Lysimachia thyrsiflora, Lycopus uniflorus, Typha angustifolia.
