Locality: United States, Minnesota, St. Louis, Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, Sundial Lake Primitive Management Area. Along the southeastern shore of White Feather Lake, in moderately rugged bedrock terrain 17 miles north-northwest of Ely.

Elevation: 399 meters
Verbatim Elevation: 1310 feet
Habitat: Small loose patch on the shoreline, in a sheltered setting behind a small bedrock point. Rooted in silty soil amongst boulders, in shallow water (12-24 inches deep). Full sun. Subtle blue hue to the vegetative parts of the plants.
Associated Species: Associates include Carex lasiocarpa, Equisetum fluviatile, Zizania palustris, Hypericum boreale.
