Locality: United States, Minnesota, St. Louis, Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, Sundial Lake Primitive Management Area. Along the southeastern shore of White Feather Lake, in moderately rugged bedrock terrain 17 miles north-northwest of Ely.

Elevation: 399 meters Verbatim Elevation: 1310 feet

Habitat: Moderately dense patch on the shoreline, in a sheltered setting behind a small bedrock point. Rooted in silty soil amongst boulders, in shallow water (12-30 inches deep). Full sun.

Associated Taxa: Associates include Carex lasiocarpa, C. rostrata, Zizania palustris, Hypericum boreale.
