Habitat:
Occasional to frequent in a patterned rich shrub fen (that is somewhat degraded by a large ditch) dominated by dense Betula pumila and Chamaedaphne calyculata. Full sun to partial shade of the shrubs and stunted Larix laricina. Buoyant saturated peat.
