Habitat:
Occasional in a patterned rich shrub fen (somewhat degraded by a large ditch) dominated by often dense Betula pumila and Chamaedaphne calyculata. Full sun to partial shade of the shrubs and stunted Larix laricina. Deep, buoyant, saturated peat.
