Locality: United States, Minnesota, Todd, Burleene State Wildlife Management Area. Large peatland complex on level to gently rolling outwash plain 7.5 miles southwest of Clarissa, 11 miles west of Browerville.

Elevation: 425 meters
Verbatim Elevation: 1395 feet
Habitat: Forming a large and rather dense patch in tamarack swamp. Patchy canopy of mature Larix laricina (many dead trees). Deep, wet peat. Partial shade. Also beneath Fraxinus nigra in a narrow strip of ash swamp along the nearby upland margin; shallow wet peat here.
Associated Species: Additional associates include Carex pseudocyperus, C. lasiocarpa, C. diandra, Thelypteris palustris, Equisetum fluviatile, Cardamine bulbosa, Caltha palustris, and Betula pumila. Also with Carex stricta, Calamagrostis canadensis, Glyceria striata, and Phalaris arundinacea.
