Locality: United States, Minnesota, Lake, Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Moderately rugged bedrock terrain east of Snowbank Lake, 24 miles east-northeast of Ely. On the north shore of Ahsub Lake.

Verbatim Elevation: 1510 feet
Habitat: Very local at campsite #1. Level to moderately steep, south- to west-facing slopes, ~20 feet above the lake. In settings that are heavily trampled by campers. Forming small patches in quite shallow silt and detritus over the metavolcanic bedrock (Knife Lake formation). Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Cerastium fontanum, Taraxacum officinale, Plantago major, Veronica serpyllifolia, Fragaria virginiana, Juncus tenuis, Danthonia spicata, Poa compressa, P. pratensis, Phleum pratense, Rubus strigosus.
